During the recruitment season 2022-2023, placements at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College broke all past records, making it the most successful recruitment season ever at SBSC. The Season witnessed an all-time high of 290+ offers and a significant growth of 40% in the number of recruiters, as more than 70 companies visited the campus for 80+ profiles in diverse sectors. The highest package of 12.65 LPA was offered by ZS Associates. The Placement Cell was able to bring on board Big 4 accounting firms such as Deloitte USI, KPMG India, KPMG Global and PwC India. Associates and unicorn start-ups like Extramarks Education, Byjus, to name a few, placed their trust in the potential of our students and recruited from SBSC for the first time. The recruitment season also saw an influx of more than 50% novel recruiters, with some notable names being BDO Rise, Intellipaat, RSM etc.

Apart from providing placement opportunities to the students, the Placement Cell also undertook a host of initiatives including the Articleship Fair for CA aspirants, CV vetting procedure for final year students, and organizing regular seminars and webinars to facilitate the students to become corporate ready. Further, the Placement Cell is associated with large firms for summer internships and events like Deloitte’s GSM, D.E. Shaw’s Finspire Fellowship, EY’s CAFTA among many others. The team’s unwavering commitment, perseverance, and concerted efforts resulted in another fruitful placement session.
