UTSAH
The AISHE (All India Survey on Higher Education) portal is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, India. It’s a web-based survey that has been conducted annually since 2010-11. The survey covers all institutions in India that provide higher education.
The data collected through AISHE includes various parameters such as teachers, student enrollment, programmes, examination results, education finance, and infrastructure. This data is used to calculate indicators of educational development like Institution Density, Gross Enrollment Ratio, Pupil-teacher ratio, Gender Parity Index, and Per Student Expenditure. These indicators are useful for making informed policy decisions and conducting research for the development of the education sector.
