The Alumni Association unites and furthers the interests of alumni by fostering and assisting in the realisation of the ideals of the college in order to stimulate and encourage loyalty towards the institution, provide financial assistance for educational programs, and serve as a sounding board for college leadership and supporting appropriate university-sponsored alumni activities. The Alumni Relations Cell (ARC) strives to bridge the gap between SBSC and its esteemed alumni community. The cell serves as a platform for alumni social, professional and academic exchange. The Alumni Relations Cell continuously endeavours to strengthen the relations of the alumni of this institute and their Alma mater.

The cell works to support the interests of alumni by investing in three key activities: – enhancing the student experience; providing services to alumni; building links with the college community.
The Alumni relations cell under the guidance of the alumni association conducted a mentorship festival at the college. This was a one-of-a-kind initiative under which speakers from various industries came to the college to share their journeys in their respective fields. The participants also got a chance to interact with the guest speakers and enlighten themselves through the experiences of the speakers. The fest was a huge success and saw registrations of more than 250 students from the college.
The alumni relations cell organized an alumni visit in the college, where a member of the executive committee of the alumni association was called and interacted with students on a one-to-one basis to understand the needs of college students and their problems. The esteemed alumni gave the students guidance for ways to tackle their issues and the real and practical world exposure of the industries they are looking to pursue
The Alumni Association, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College(M) organized a webinar on the Economy and Budget 2022 on 4th February 2022. The experts Aditi Nayar, Chief Economist (ICRA) and Dr. Girish Ahuja, veteran direct tax expert along with moderator Narinder Wadhwa gave insights and an in depth analysis on the budget. strengthening the relationship between alumni and students of the institute.
Alumni Association, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College announced the Basicolan V. Shekhar Scholarship Fund (2021-22) scheme for granting scholarship to needy and meritorious students, studying in the college, on a year to year basis. This was started in the year 2020-21.
