About the Department
The Department of Environmental Science at the college is responsible for teaching various courses based on environmental science at the undergraduate level. The department was constituted in the year 2023 with the appointment of 3 Assistant Professors in a permanent capacity. Since the implementation of Environmental Science as a mandatory course at the undergraduate level by the University of Delhi in 2014, the college has been appointing faculty members with the required qualifications in the subject.

Events The department of Environmental science at the college is responsible for teaching various courses based on environmental science at undergraduate level. Some of the activities conducted by faculty members during the year are as follows: Walk in the campus to study bio-diversity and its importance. Special lecture by Dr. Markus Leuenberger, University of Bern, Switzerland on “Climate Change, sustainability, and Career Opportunities”. Visit to the Aravali Biodiversity Park, Vasant Vihar visit with 1st year AEC students.
