Admission Procedure

Candidates are required to submit the print out of the admission form downloaded from the University of Delhi Web Portal and the set of college forms, for admission to the First year (Semester I) of three Year CBCS Under Graduate Programme. Admission will be done on the basis of merit by the Admission Committee and the Principal. The First Admission list shall be noticed on 24th June, 2017.

Documents/Certificates Required for Admission:
  1. Eligibility Slip issued by the College (Computation of Best 4 %)
  2. DU Registration Form (Containing the College Name and the Course to which the admis
  3. Duly filled Reference Card (Detached from Admission Form Supplied by the College)
  4. Duly filled I-Card Form (Detached from Admission Form Supplied by the College)
  5. Class XII Marks-sheet.
  6. Class XII Provisional Certificate/ Original Certificate/ Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate/Transfer-cum-school Leaving Certificate.
  7. Recent Character certificate from the school/ college last attended.
  8. Class X Marks-sheet cum certificate showing date of birth
  9. Migration Certificate from Board/ University is required for those students who have passed senior secondary exam from outside Delhi.
  10. SC/ST/OBC/PWD Certificate if applicable (Original)
  11. A. In the case of SC/ST category, the candidates are required to submit the following:

    • Caste certificate in the name of candidate
    • Copy of Caste Certificate of Father/ Mother/ Brother/ Sister.

    B. In the case of OBC category the candidates are require to submit the following:

    • OBC Non-creamy layer certificate for the year 2016-17 of the applicant
    • Proof of Income (Any of the following):

    In case of father/ mother being salaried:

    • Form 16 issued by the employer
    • Copy of income tax return for the assessment year 2016-17

    In other case:

    • Copy of income tax return for the assessment year 2016-17

    OBC Candidates are required to note the following:

    • The Caste Certificate must be in the name of applicant.
    • The caste should be included in the Central list of OBC.
    • Certificate must mention the non-creamy layer status of the applicant.
    • The OBC non-creamy layer status certificate issued for the Financial year 2016-17 shall be valid only as per Office Memorandum No. 36036/2/2013-Estt. (RES)-1 dated 31-03-2016 issued by DoPT, Govt. of India.
    • If a candidate does not have the valid OBC non-creamy layer certificate, i.e. issued for the financial year 2016-17, he/she shall not be admitted against the seats reserved for OBC (non-creamy layer, central list).
    • Income proof mentioned above is required to be submitted in addition to the OBC certificate.

    C. In the case of PwD category the candidates are require to submit the disability certificate issued by the competent government medical officer.

  12. Copy of Proof of residence of the student and parent/ guardian viz. electricity bill, AADHAR card, Voter ID card, receipt of property tax payment. MTNL/ BSNL telephone bill, etc., which would be verified with the original.
  13. Three recent passport size photographs of the Candidate and One Photograph of the Parent/ Guardian.
  14. Self-attested Photocopies of documents mentioned above in S.No. 5 to 11

NOTE: CANDIDATE MUST BE PRESENT THROUGHOUT THE ADMISSION PROCEDURE ALONG WITH EITHER PARENT (GUARDIAN ONLY IN THE CASE OF OUTSTATION STUDENTS).

Attestation of Documents

The University has decided to accept the self-attested copies of documents/papers provided by the students. It is made clear that if any false attestation/falsified records are detected, the student will be debarred from attending any course in the University or its College(s) for next five years and in addition, a criminal case under relevant sections of IPC (viz, 470, 471, 474 etc.) will be instituted against him/her, to subject him/her to the requisite criminal proceedings.

IMPORTANT: Applicants should refer to the College Notice Board on which Admission Notification will be put up.
  • The payment of fees will be as per the University of Delhi guidelines (visit University of Delhi Web Portal)
  • Any mis-behaviour on the part of the students in the College premises would mean automatic cancellation of the Admission.
  • Admission for a particular Course will be open to all candidates falling within the cut-off announced by the College during the stipulated period.
  • Admission to all the courses are routed through various Committees that are constituted for the purpose.
  • Applicants and their parent/guardians are requested not to approach the Principal in matters relating to admission. In case of any enquiry/difficulty they should contact the Convener, Admission Committee or the Chief Admission Coordinator.
Note:
  • Eligibility is no guarantee for admission. All admissions will be done by the Admission Committee.
  • The decision of the Admission Committee will be final and no personal representation, correspondence or telephonic inquiry by the applicant or on his/her behalf will be entertained by the College.
  • The admission to the College is provisional and is subject to the final approval by the University.
  • Admission sought on wrong information with regard to marks/subjects studied is liable to be cancelled and no refund of fees will be made.
  • RULES, REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURE

    Rules, Regulations and Procedure to be followed during the admission process formulated by the Central.

    Admission Committee:
    1. Applicants will take the form personally to the Admission Committee.
    2. No applicant will be admitted in any case if he/she is not physically present.
    3. Every applicant has to sign the application form before the Admission Committee even if the application form is already signed.
    4. Every applicant needs to affix latest photograph on the college forms and the Committee will ensure that the photograph affixed and the person available physically are same.
    5. Every applicant has to be accompanied by Parent / Guardian whose photograph will be affixed on the application form and Parent/Guardian has to sign across the affixed photograph as well as the form. The Parent/Guardian also has to produce their identity card (issued by a government agency) in original and provide a copy of the same during admission.
    6. Every applicant has to provide Residence Proof of all the Addresses given in the form. In case, residence proof of local address is not practically possible, then permanent residence proof is compulsory.
    7. As far as possible, Mark-sheet of the applicant will be matched on the same day with the Board Result available on their websites. The students of the Boards where results are not available online, i.e. over the internet will be admitted only when the photocopy of the Mark-sheet is duly attested by the DM/SDM/ Resident Commissioner of the concerned state.
    8. All the relevant original certificates are to be produced along with their self-attested photocopies.
    9. No undertaking will be accepted for submission of any certificate.
